The sixth annual El Cerrito Summer Band Workshop is a week-long camp at El Cerrito High School for band students entering grades 8, 9, and 10 with 2+ years of playing experience. Sponsored by the El Cerrito Band Association, the Summer Band Workshop is designed to help strengthen fundamental music skills and prepare band students for the start of the new school year. Participants will have the opportunity to work with master teachers and participate in music theory sessions, full band rehearsals, and sectionals with peer mentors. To register click HERE!

- Cost: $325 per student
- Dates: July 27, 2026 through July 31, 2026
- Time: 9:00am – 12:00pm (see schedule below)
- Prerequisites: 2+ years playing experience and the ability to read music
- Instrumentation: Flute, oboe, clarinet, bass clarinet, bassoon, saxophone, trumpet, french horn, trombone, euphonium, tuba, bass, percussion

- Light snacks, juice, and water provided for participants
- Students receive will receive a 2026 ECSBW T-shirt to wear at the performance
