WIND ENSEMBLE

Wind Ensemble is a performance based course for advanced-level woodwind, brass, and percussion instrumentalists. Students work for refinement of ensemble skills toward the collegiate level, mastery of music reading skills, and strong performance fundamentals through active listening and the study and performance of wind band literature ranging from the core repertoire to new works by contemporary composers. Instrumentation is limited and an audition is required for acceptance into the ensemble. Offsite performances, workshops and sectionals required of all members.
